fact_check

Primary-source data

Every NSPF rating, index score, proficiency metric, and graduation rate on this site comes directly from the Nevada School Performance Framework published by the Nevada Department of Education. We don't weight, adjust, or editorially override official data.

Methodology, in plain view

Each guide explains where its numbers come from and links to the underlying state source. When we say 'a 3-star school,' we mean the official NSPF designation — not our opinion. When we add interpretation, we say so.

history_edu

Updated when the data changes

Nevada releases new accountability data each fall. Affected guides carry an 'Updated' date alongside the original publication date so readers can see what changed.

Corrections welcome

If a guide is wrong, we want to know. Email tips and corrections via our contact page. Corrections are made on the original article — we don't quietly delete or rewrite history.

Independence

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by the Nevada Department of Education, any school district, or any school. We don't take placement fees and don't sell rankings. Ad revenue (Google AdSense) has no influence on data or editorial.

groups

Authored, not anonymous

Every guide carries a byline. Bylines link to a profile page so readers can see who wrote what, what topics that author covers, and the rest of their work on this site.

Have a tip or correction?

We update guides when official Nevada accountability data changes and we issue corrections when we get something wrong. Either way, we want to hear from you.
