How often is school data updated?
Our dataset is refreshed annually when the Nevada Department of Education publishes new NSPF ratings, typically each fall. The current data reflects the 2024–25 school year.
How do I interpret the star ratings and index scores?
The NSPF star rating (1–5) and index score (0–100) are calculated directly by the Nevada Department of Education based on proficiency, academic growth, graduation rates, and chronic absenteeism. See our Data Sources page for a full breakdown.
